Mayor Martin O'Malley Cuts The Ribbon For Harview Roofing Company's Grand Opening Of It's New Headquarters Bldg. Locally owned Harview Roofing Company dedicated its new headquarters building at 6024 Harford road recently furthering their dedication to our community by keeping their headquarters, their company, and the jobs they provide in our community. Harview Roofing has invested over $1/2 Million into our community in building their new building here. This gives both residential and business properties surrounding them a firmer foundation in property value as well as making the community look much better. Harview's Grand Opening Ceremony began with Mayor Martin O'Malley giving Harview Roofing President Joseph E. Greaver a Citizen Citation Award for opening their now location in the community of 6024 Harford Road. The Mayor also cut the ribbon at the Grand Opening Ceremony. Harview Roofing's President, Joe Greaver, stated, 'We were honored that the mayor took time out in his busy schedule to join us of this special time for us and the community.' City Councilman Robert Curran gave Harview Roofing Company a Resolution from the Baltimore City Council offering sincerest congratulations on the Grand Opening. Bob Curran dedicated a great amount of time and effort with obtaining proper zoning and permits which takes a great amount of time and energy in Baltimore City. Joe Greaver, Harview Roofing president stated, "Without the help of City Councilman Bob Curran Harview Roofing might not have been able to build our new headquarters building in our community and give back to the community in the way we wanted by helping property owners by enhancing their property values with the building of our new headquarters building in the community. In fact, we were ready to throw up our hands in despair with the process. Had not it been for Bob Curran, this project might not have happened." Westfield Community Association and Harbel also participated in the effort to improve the community in Harview Roofing's investment into the community. Troy Warner, President of Westfield stated, "Harview's new building has added value to the community and is something that this community can be proud of.” The success of Harview Roofing Company is attributed to the founder and local resident Al Greaver by his son and present company president Joe Greaver. Al Greaver started Harview Roofing in his garage with one truck in 1959. The company grew and needed offices to the family kept their business in the community when they moved to 7206 Harford Road in the 1970s. Presently the company has over 30 employees, 20 trucks, a crane for commercial & industrial work, a new headquarters at 6024 Harford Road, and serves Parkville, Hamilton, the entire State of Maryland, and southern Pennsylvania. They do repairs and replacements of shingle, slate, hot asphalt, and rubber roofs. They do emergency storm damage work and insurance work for residential and commercial buildings. Harview Roofing Company is an award winning company and is an approved GAF Master Elite Roofing Contractor. Joseph Greaver, Harview Roofing's President is on the board of directors of Associated Roofing Contractors of Maryland.
